The following guide tells you how to properly ship your products to love2ship, to avoid delays, additional charges and discrepancies.

Receiving Hours:

All receivings occurs between Monday - Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm in the local time zone for each warehouse.

All receivings must adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Each box, pallet, or container must have an "ASN" (receiving) created prior to shipping to our warehouse.
  • Each shipment must be clearly labeled as follows:

"love2ship/ YOUR COMPANY NAME" with the ASN on the outside of the box. If the supplier does not add the ASN, please make sure the Tracking Number or BOL number is included in your receiving in the system.

                    love2ship's Florida address:

                    Your Company Name / love2ship

                    136 NW 16th Street

                    Boca Raton, FL 33432

  • Each SKU must be separate in its packing. No mixed SKU cartons. (Ex. Different sizes in different boxes)
  • Each box/bag must be clearly labeled with the SKU and quantity on the outside.
  • Pallets must fit the standard 40x48x55. If a pallet does not fit these dimensions, we will restructure it. This will be considered a special project for which there is a fee.

Extra Tips:

  • Have your supplier add carton numbers on each box: 1/25, 2/25. 3/25, etc.
  • Use product barcodes to identify each product. This helps to avoid any delays and identification issues.
  • Use multi-level packing materials: an inner carton of 12 individual units, a master carton of 6 inner cartons, etc. This helps you save money on pick fees for wholesale orders.

FAQ

1. What is Good Faith Receiving?

Our receiving process is referred to as good faith receiving. This means that our modus operandi is to assume that the quantity of SKUs listed on each of the cartons is identical to the quantity present in the shipment. If the supplier short-shipped SKUs, it may not be clear until months later.

2. Are there any costs for receiving?

Receivings are free unless your vendor does not follow our Receiving Guidelines. We also charge to receive all master cases and cartons containing 5 or fewer pickable units . We label all cartons with TCs (internal labels) that allow our warehouse to properly track inventory levels. These labels ensure that your inventory is accurately accounted for and that our picking process can be as efficient as possible.

To avoid the $2.50/label Receiving fee your carton must exceed 5 individual, pickable units per SKU as this receiving process involves more manual labor than receiving master cases and/or cartons with numerous pickable inventory.

3. Why create a receiving in the first place?

Imagine several boxes of a product are dropped off. No one recognizes the item, there's no account name ascribed to the boxes, nor is there an ASN identifying the SKUs. Without a proper receiving protocol in place, managing inventory would be challenging and disorganized.

For that reason, a receiving is necessary to ensure that your inventory is identified and processed properly.

4. Are there any best practices that you recommend?

We recommend that all of your goods have outer packaging so as to prevent damage and/or becoming dirty. This is especially true of all apparel products.
